Shmoo's acclaimed You Are Here series with Derrick Carter at Spybar and groundbreaking studio work alongside Gramaphone’s Garrett David (including appearances on “Don’t Fuck With Shmoo,” “Lop It,” and “Mike Experiment”) have further defined his place in the city’s dance music landscape. He has been frequently tapped for both direct support and closing sets at the legendary Smartbar, while during the early years of the weekly Queen! party, he was a go-to choice to warm up the room.

As venues went dark, he founded and launched SHFFT, a cutting-edge multimedia project that kept the underground spirit alive. Continuing to extend his reach beyond the booth, Shmoo has also been welcomed as a featured guest on DJ Heather's CHI FI SHOW Twitch livestream.

Shmoo’s remix of “Mack Blagic” by Groovy Drew on Jason Merle’s 4E&A has garnered the support of Carl Cox, while his release “Split Up The Get Go” on the same label climbed to #2 on Beatport’s After Hour Essentials: Deep House chart and #6 on their Best New Deep House chart.

The Audio Soul Project (aka Mazi) remix was featured on Traxsource’s Essential Garage chart and peaked at #28 on their Top 100 Garage chart. In addition to his work as an artist and producer, Shmoo co-founded and serves as A&R Manager for Cheap Talk, helping to shape the label’s forward-thinking sound.
